Frank Rescino is an Italian small-time fisherman making a living on Fisherman’s Wharf with his ship, the Lovely Martha. He does commercial fishing for a living, but later on switches to sport fishing, bringing tourists out to fish for revenue. But when the Loma Prieta earthquake hit San Francisco in 1989, Frank almost loses his ship. This moving documentary is about how Frank manages to recover from the disaster.
